Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Will set up the CNC machine, according to established procedures, to drill and mill required material and/or parts out of aluminum, stainless steel, Kapton, titanium, brass, copper, etc.
· Will utilize a lit or a drawing to verify that the machined parts conform to specifications.
· Will monitor the coolant levels and maintain CNC tooling.
· Will perform QC on first articles and on in-process parts.
· Will use micrometers and calipers to measure parts.
· Must be able to get along well with others.
· Must be able to work scheduled shift and meet company attendance requirements; must be flexible enough to stay late or modify work hours on short notice, if production deadlines require it.
· Must be able to perform the job safely; must comply with company safety rules and procedures.
· Must follow the lean philosophy and practice the 5 S’s on a daily basis.
